Parent Association

The UNM Parent Association was officially founded March 12, 2008, when the Board of Regents signed a memorandum of understanding giving parents a role in university governance. Current Association President Maria Probasco gives a parent report at monthly regents meetings.

UNM’s new association is free and open to all parents of current students and alumni. Families may donate any sum to the Parent Association to provide financial support for the association’s programs and scholarships. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
